Welcome to Powys Libraries new eBooks Loan service, eBooks for Wales
There are lots of titles to choose from, from current best sellers to self help books, classic fiction to cookery books. There are also eBooks for children.
To use this service you must be a member of Powys Library Service. Click here for information on how to join
First time users also need to register on the eBook site. Click here to register for eBooks. You will need your library card number, and you will create a PIN when you register.
Download ebooks to your PC, and then transfer them to your eReader.
iPhone, iPad, Android and Kindle Fire users can download books directly to their devices. Unfortunately, standard Kindle e-Readers are not able to access library ebooks. This is because Amazon uses a proprietary format and does not support library-loaned material.

You can borrow up to 4 books at a time, and each download is available for up to three weeks. There is no charge to borrow our ebooks. The books will automatically disappear from your device at the end of the loan period.
If the book you want is out on loan, you can reserve it free of charge. You will be notified when it is available for you to download.
